Roles We’re Hiring For
Three ways to join the crew, depending on your experience level.
Chimney Sweep Technician
Perform rotary sweeps and inspections, and explain findings to homeowners in plain language.
Requirements
- Valid TN driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working on rooftops
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight attic/crawlspace areas
- Professional certification a plus — not required to apply
- Friendly, clear communicator with homeowners
What You’ll Do
- Perform rotary sweeps and full visual/camera inspections
- Document repair needs with photos and written estimates
- Keep your van and equipment clean and job-ready
- Follow NFPA 211 safety standards on every job
Apprentice Technician
No chimney experience? We’ll train you from scratch and pay for your professional certification.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Physically able to climb ladders and work at heights
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable, on time, and eager to learn a real trade
What You’ll Do
- Shadow lead technicians on sweeps, inspections, and repairs
- Complete professional certification coursework during your first few months
- Take on more responsibility as you get certified
Masonry & Repair Specialist
Handle crowns, tuckpointing, brick replacement, and full chimney rebuilds.
Requirements
- 2+ years of masonry or construction experience
- Hands-on experience with brick, mortar, and crown/flashing repair
- Valid driver’s license and own basic hand tools
- Comfortable reading a written scope of work and executing it
What You’ll Do
- Perform crown repairs, tuckpointing, and brick replacement
- Execute full chimney rebuilds to code
- Provide accurate written estimates alongside our office team

No. Our Apprentice Technician role requires no prior chimney experience — we pay for your full professional certification training. Our other roles do prefer relevant experience.
Not on day one. If you’re not yet certified, we cover the cost of professional training and coursework during your first several months on the job.
Full-time, Sunday through Friday, with rotating Sunday coverage across the team. Work is steady year-round, not just during winter.
Yes. Technicians drive a fully stocked company vehicle. Masonry specialists are provided company tools and materials for every job.
